Christopher Ingui, RLA, WEDG | Landscape Architect

Christopher is a Landscape Architect with SALT DESIGN STUDIO. Christopher’s design background is rooted in a 13-year career as a professional trail builder where he worked in National Forests and State Parks throughout the United States. His passion for the craft would eventually lead him to create a 501c3 nonprofit organization where he developed a standing crew of 40+ volunteers and managed the organization’s design-build projects aimed at improving access to iconic hiking destinations.

Seeking to design more broadly, he returned to school later in life and became a Landscape Architect with the desire to leverage his background in trail construction to weave nature into urban life. He would begin this second career in New York City where he spent 4 years focused on the design and implementation of large-scale parks and plazas with a focus on coastal resiliency, stonework and the reuse of salvaged materials.

Christopher is a Registered Landscape Architect in New York with a Master of Landscape Architecture degree from Rutgers University and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from George Washington University. He is also a WEDG Associate through the Waterfront Alliance.
