Nestled in the historic Jugtown district of Princeton, this 3-acre woodland park is well loved by the neighbors. The Borough of Princeton and the surrounding residential community was interested in rehabilitating the park to provide a richer, more diverse landscape and creating a unique and less structured play experience for children.

SALT DESIGN STUDIO was commissioned by the Borough of Princeton to conduct an ecological assessment of the landscape, facilitate community meetings, and to develop an environmentally sensitive master plan. The first phase of park improvements were guided by neighborhood identified needs and activities in tandem with opportunities for habitat restoration and stormwater management strategies.
